Roberto Gonzalez is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of RG Partners Group LLC, a commodities trading and capital markets intermediary specializing in oil and gas, refined products, and rare earths. He brings over a decade of experience advising on complex mergers and acquisitions, capital structuring, and strategic transactions across the energy and healthcare industries, having worked alongside leading institutions and organizations throughout his career.

Mr. Gonzalez holds a degree in Business from the College of Charleston. His academic foundation, combined with over a decade of hands-on transactional experience, informs a rigorous and disciplined approach to the complex deals that define global commodity markets.

Mr. Gonzalez brings transactional expertise across natural resources, mining, infrastructure, and physical commodity markets. His work spans some of the most dynamic and complex cross-border environments in the world, with significant experience across Central and South America, Europe, and Africa. Operating fluidly across multiple jurisdictions, each presenting distinct legal, regulatory, and market considerations, he has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor and principal in global commodities.

At RG Partners, Mr. Gonzalez oversees the firm's strategic direction and transaction execution, applying a rigorous, analytical framework to deal structuring and counterparty evaluation. His approach reflects a deep appreciation for the operational realities and relationship-driven dynamics that define global energy markets, and an unwavering commitment to delivering disciplined, results-oriented outcomes for the firm and its partners.

Garrett Kidd is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of RG Partners Group LLC, a commodities trading and capital markets intermediary specializing in crude oil, LNG, EN590 diesel, LPG, and related products.

Prior to founding RG Partners, Garrett spent nearly a decade as a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he served within the firm's Hedge Funds & Asset Managers group. In that capacity, he advised ultra-high-net-worth clients and institutional counterparties on complex capital markets matters, including families with significant interests in energy and infrastructure businesses.

Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Miami and a Master of Science in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University. His quantitative foundation, combined with nearly a decade of relationship-driven capital markets experience at one of the world's leading financial institutions, directly informs RG Partners' disciplined approach to deal structuring, counterparty evaluation, and transaction execution across global commodity markets.

Garrett's connection to the energy industry runs deeper than his own career. His grandfather spent four decades at Marathon Petroleum, ultimately serving as the company's Head of Marketing — a tenure that shaped Garrett's early understanding of how the oil and gas industry operates and the relationships that underpin it. That family legacy, combined with his own institutional training, is part of what drew him to commodities and drives his commitment to building RG Partners into a trusted intermediary in global energy markets.

Jeff Haidet is a partner in the firm's Corporate & Finance Transactions Department. Jeff's corporate law practice focuses on domestic and international commercial transactions, including transaction and financial structuring, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and industry consolidations. He also regularly advises clients on developing strategies to address highly aggressive competitive environments. His extensive experience spans a wide array of industries, including retail and consumer products, health care, travel and hospitality, professional services, manufacturing and technology.

Jeff has served as chief outside legal counsel for several clients, advising on corporate compliance issues and growth strategies. He has also represented law firms and other professional service firms regarding governance matters, succession planning and the acquisition and development of ancillary businesses. In addition to Jeff's practice, he continues to share his innovative thought leadership perspective through numerous avenues, including forums and publications on law firm evolution, collaborative culture, corporate social responsibility and servant leadership.

Jeff has been recognized by The Legal 500 US for M&A: middle-market and by Best Lawyers in America for Mergers and Acquisition Law and Corporate Law. Jeff is a two-time recipient of The M&A Advisor Deal of the Year awards. Most recently, Jeff and the firm were recognized as winners of The M&A Advisor 16th Annual International M&A Awards for Industrials Deal of the Year (over $100MM) for its work advising Priority 1 X LLC and its affiliates — comprised of U.S., U.K., Irish, and Norwegian entities — on a cross-border multidisciplinary bond offering totaling USD 230 million. He also won The M&A Advisor 15th Annual International M&A Awards for M&A Middle Market Transaction Deal of the Year (2024) for the representation of QuintEvents LLC in their acquisition by Liberty Media. Additionally, Jeff was recognized by Global M&A Network's Annual Americas and Global Markets M&A Atlas Awards for Cross Border M&A Deal of the Year (Mid-Markets) in 2021.
